Frequently Asked Questions

What resolution are the output images?

Resolution depends on the scale factor you choose. 1x gives standard screen resolution (72 DPI equivalent), 2x gives double resolution (good for retina displays), and 3x gives triple resolution (suitable for high-quality printing).

Should I choose PNG or JPEG?

Use PNG for text-heavy documents, diagrams, or when you need transparency and pixel-perfect quality. Use JPEG for photo-heavy PDFs or when you need smaller file sizes. PNG is lossless; JPEG is lossy but more compact.

Can I convert specific pages only?

Currently the tool converts all pages at once. For specific pages, you can use the PDF Split tool first to extract the pages you need, then convert those individual PDFs to images.
